- In my opinion, the tortilla wrap is the smartest way to make a wrap because your fillings stay inside the wrap, it’s easy and neat to eat.
What is a tortilla wrap?
It is a hack I have seen on Tik Tok and Instagram. This recipe forever changed the way I make wraps. Instead of filling the tortilla or wrap with your fillings and then rolling it up, the tortilla is filled with your favorite fillings and folded into quarters, making a tight triangle shaped wrap. You can either eat it as is or toast it on a pan or panini press.
Ingredients:
- tortilla
- pepperoni (uncured & nitrate free)
- deli turkey (uncured & nitrate free)
- swiss cheese
- red onion
- marinara
- oregano
- tomato
Step by Step Instructions:
- Start with making a slit from the one edge to the middle of the tortilla.
- Then place the deli turkey and pepperoni in that lower left quarter.
- Add marinara, oregano, and red onion in the upper left quarter.
- Next, add the slice cheese to the top right quarter and tomato to the lower right quarter.
- Fold the lower left quarter over the top left quarter.
- Fold the top left quarter over the right upper quarter.
- Finish off folding the last quarter to create a triangle.
- The last step is to cook the tortilla wrap on a skillet. You can skip this step and eat the folded tortilla wrap without cooking it on a skillet, but I highly recommend cooking it.
- Preheat your skillet to medium heat, spray some oil and place the wrap and cook for 2-3 min on each side until lightly toasted.

- 2 slices of deli turkey (uncured & nitrate free)
- 1 slice swiss cheese
- 1-2 rings of red onion
- 1 tbsp. marinara
- ¼ tsp oregano
- 1 slice tomato (such as a sandwich tomato)
