Reflecting about the winter storm we experienced in February – saying it was very HARD is an understatement but on the other hand, we were one of those lucky ones who did not suffer too much. Although, we lost power on Sunday night until Thursday morning, we were able to stay with my mother in law with heat and power. Despite all of us cramped in one bedroom apartment, we managed it great. Shout out to her. She is amazing ❤️
I am grateful for my supporting family, especially my husband who turns into a daddy bear and into a survival mode immediately we face a challenging situation. For him, family comes always first and he is truly the best hubby, father, son.
I am grateful for being able to make wonderful winter memories with the kids as they sled for the first time as we never get snow in Dallas.
I am grateful for a great job, supporting and compassionate boss and co-workers who allowed me to take most of the last week off and stepped in to take over my work.
I am grateful for our house not suffering a major damage and only had to deal with a broken fridge/freezer and spoiled food.
Lastly, I am grateful for this community and for all of you who have reached out to check on us. I appreciate you.
